Back in October 2016, My Son Callum met Chris from Mybility for the first time. Callum was shy and nervous and lacked confidence having never been in control of a wheelchair before (Manual chair that Mummy pushed) over the course of the demo under Chris’s calm guidance i watched my little boy transform and by the end he was whizzing around a field with his little sister, in the sun shine. We were sold and the order was placed within days.
Over the next few months Mybility kept in touch with us and last weekend was the day that the wheelchair would be delivered, Callum was beyond excited as were we as a family. Chris arrived and got Callum straight into the chair and moving, Chris went through the controls in a clear way that Callum could understand and he was off.. Over the next hour Chris was patient and helped Callum to learn, with plenty of tricks and tips.
Chris said we could text him anytime with any problems and with in 24 hours we encountered the first. after a quick text exchanged the problem was solved and resolved.
People say this wheelchair is a little like a transformer as it goes from sitting to standing.. well to Callum it has transformed his life, i never thought id be standing at my front door on a spring afternoon calling Callum into dinner as he is outside whizzing around ..
